My freshman year, I took a good picture. I put on my red plaid shirt, straightened my hair, smiled, no big deal. The picture was great!
Sophomore year was quite a different story! I wasn't trying to look good. I wanted to look like a total nerd. With tape on my glasses, my hair in pig tails, my superhero cape, and a cheesy grin, I took my picture! I did not realize that the yearbook picture appeared on MS Outlook on networked computers. That means that whenever I sent an email to my professors, they saw my goofy picture! Bad decision!
For my Junior year picture, I wore my new grey button down and straightened my hair. I smiled and took a great professional looking picture! I use it on LinkedIn! My mom loved it and we ended up purchasing a package. My mom got the 8x10, Cecilia got a 5x8, Dr. Sheafer got a wallet, and the rest are still in my room. I've been meaning to frame the other 5x8 and give it to Laurie, but I haven't...
I think I'm going to be the type of parent who makes their child get a picture every year and frame them so that you can see the progression!
